Etch Primer Black 400G is a fast‑acting, acid‑etching primer in a convenient 400 g aerosol can that promotes exceptional adhesion to bare steel, aluminium and other metals. Formulated for repair shops, fabricators and DIYers, CT‑EPBK‑400 creates a corrosion‑resistant, paintable surface that reduces prep time and improves topcoat durability. Dries quickly, sands easily, and accepts most primers and topcoats.

Directions for use
- Surface prep: Remove loose rust, dirt, oil and grease; clean with a suitable degreaser.
- Shake: Shake can vigorously for at least 2 minutes after mixing ball moves freely.
- Apply: Hold can 20–30 cm from surface and apply light, even coats; build up 2–3 thin coats rather than one heavy coat.
- Drying: Allow to dry between coats; sand lightly if required before applying primer or topcoat.
- Topcoat: Apply compatible primer or paint once fully cured.

- Personal protection: Wear protective gloves, eye protection and a suitable respirator when spraying.
- Ventilation: Use only in well‑ventilated areas; avoid inhalation of spray mist.
